Cauliflower and Broccoli Salad

  • 2 cups of cauliflower

  • 2 cups of broccoli

  • ½ cup grated carrot

  • ½ cup celery

  • ½ cup green pepper

  • ¼ cup onion

  • 5 strips of cooked bacon

  • 1 cup of mayonnaise

  • ¼ cup of sugar

  • 3 tbsp. of parmesan cheese


Preparation time – 1 hour

Cook time – 0 mins

Cut vegetables into dime sized pieces. Combine vegetables in a large bowl. In a separate bowl

combine mayo, sugar and cheese until smooth. Add together. Crumble bacon and add right

before serving.

This is my absolute favourite salad, although I hate making it! It feels like forever trying to cut

everything up into tiny little pieces, but it does make a difference in the flavour. I made it for

my family last weekend for Thanksgiving and it was a hit as always (Just ask my Dad!). Although

I had mentioned above that it takes about an hour, from start to finish for me took about 1.5

hours. Don’t let that sway you though, as you will not be disappointed! A little healthy with the

veggies, a little tasty with the bacon and sugar! Perfect!
