When Life Gives you Lemons...Have Some Lemon Water!

If you are not already enjoying lemon water on a regular basis - there is no better time to start than now. Spring makes us want to feel fresh and alive, we want to rid ourselves of toxins and feel more energized. This is such a great habit to start after a holiday like Easter.

Not sure how to incorporate lemons everyday?  Here are 5 quick and easy ways to enjoy all the benefits of lemon water:

1- Starting your day off with hot water and lemon before anything else enters you body is said to be the best way to detoxify. Cleansing the liver before other toxins enter the body. 

2- Adding lemon to your drinking water is a great on the road way to take advantage this detoxifying process. 

3- Freeze your lemon slices before they go bad so you don't waste any.  Then when you add them to drinking water it's kind of like adding ice!

4- Freeze some lemon slices and water in muffin tins to get an even cooler and refreshing drink - once frozen you can pop out and store in freezer bag. 

5- Freeze just the actual lemon juice in ice cube trays. Pop one in your water as needed. 

Tip - roll lemon with hand out on counter before use as it helps release the juices.
